Business Investment is one of the visa of the Investment Temporary Visa and Business innovation 188.
Investor - for those who wish to invest a minimum of AUD 1.5 million in an Australian state or territory, while maintaining business and investment activities in Australia.
You must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the Skills Selection program and must be appointed by the state or territory government or the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) on behalf of the Australian Government before receiving an invitation to apply for a visa.

III. Visa 188B conditions:
- Under the age of 55, however, this condition will be ignored if your business is for the special economic interest of the state or territory designated.
- Achieve a minimum of 65 points in the rating scale system.
- High management skills in business and investment activities.
- At least 3 years of direct experience in managing one or more eligible businesses or investments.
- Have successful legal investment or business.
- There is a clear commitment to continue business and investment in Australia after the original investment matures.
- Have a clear intention of living in a state or territory that will invest at least 2 years.
You and (your spouse) must meet the following requirements:
- At least 1 year out of 5 financial years immediately before the time of receiving the invitation to apply, directly manage one of the following activities:
- A legal business in which you (and your spouse) own at least 10% of equity, or o Own a minimum investment of 1.5 million AUD.
- In the 2 financial years immediately prior to the time of application, your total assets (and spouse) will reach at least AUD 2.25 million to move to Australia within 2 years from the date of visa issuance.
- Before being granted a immigrant visa, must invest AUD 1.5 million in Australian Government Bonds and keep that investment for 4 years.
Income earned from investing in Australia will be governed by the Australian Taxation Law.
