What is the Temporary Graduate Visa?
If you are currently an International student, completing a course of study in Australia, it is time you make plans for your future after the student visa expires.
This temporary visa let’s international students work temporarily within Australia after they have completed their Post Graduate studies at an Australian educational institution, allowing them to work in any field of study for up to four years from the date the visa is granted.
The visa is also available for students who have completed Graduate studies, however, their skills and qualifications must relate to an occupation listed on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL), and can extend their time in Australia by up to 18 months.
Students can only access the Temporary Graduate Visa 485 once as the main applicant. And you must be in Australia both when you apply for the visa and when you are notified of the visa decision.
